Soil Particle Size Analyser Model Sedimat 4-12

Automated determination of the grain size distribution in mineral soils according to DIN ISO 11277 (Köhn analysis) on up to 12 samples with 4 fractions (<0.002 mm to <0.063 mm). Optionally, 2 fractions can be determined according to US nomenclature.

Sedimat 4-12 offers higher accuracy and resolution in determining particle size distribution, especially in the fine range. It allows precise differentiation between various size fractions.

• Information from particle size analysis can be used to predict soil-water movement
• Particle size analysis is used to check that the soil has the right properties, including making sure fertilizers meet the required Size Guide Number (SGN).
